Dear parents,

As we come to the end of Quarter 3, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to our entire MZS community—students, staff, and parents—for a fantastic term. There has been so much to celebrate, and we can be proud of the learning, growth, and experiences our students have engaged in over the past weeks.

I wish everyone a safe and restful holiday. We look forward to welcoming you all back, refreshed and ready for our final quarter of the school year.

Quarter 4 will be another exciting and busy time, with a number of events already planned, including Gymnastics, Earth Week, and Kartini Day. Further information regarding these events has been shared, and we encourage families to stay connected.

Please also note our upcoming PTA Meeting on Wednesday, 22 April, which is open to both teachers and parents. This is an important opportunity to continue strengthening our school–community partnership.

We look forward to seeing everyone back for a strong and successful final quarter.

MZS Events

• 24 April – Ibu Kartini Day. A national celebration honoring Indonesian women’s empowerment. Students learn about Indonesian history, culture, and important national figures.
• 25 April – Earth Day. Schoolwide environmental activities and projects led by G4 and 5. Students explore sustainability and their role in protecting the planet.
• 9 May – MZS/YPJ Choir Vocal Competition. A second music event celebrating vocal performance. Students continue developing confidence and musical skills.
• 18–22 May – Literacy Week. A week dedicated to reading, storytelling, and writing. Students strengthen their literacy skills and develop a love for reading.
• 25–30 May – Transition to Boarding School Program. Preparation activities for students moving on to boarding schools. G6-8students develop independence, life skills, and readiness for their next learning journey.
